I would like to hear news of Lakeland Schools and have this school district included in Philipstown discussions. Many Philipstown residents are in the Lakeland School district but we are treated like we don't exist. I wrote a letter to the editor of the PCNR and was told they were going to cover Lakeland but I haven't seen anything to date.

Very likely the PCNR decided to focus on the schools in Philipstown that were also in Putnam County, which is, of course, a terrible excuse. You are correct, that Lakeland deserves to be part of the discussion, as there are Philipstown residents who attend Lakeland schools.
Since the Chain appears to be a forum for all of P-town, I think you are most welcome to comment here, too!
